01 Before You Need It

02 Quick Setup
5 StepsMove away from flame, sparks, traffic, sharp objects and other immediate hazards.
Open the blanket carefully. Avoid forceful pulling that could tear or puncture the material.
For warmth, face the reflective surface inward. For shade, face it outward and maintain an air gap.
Wrap over dry clothing or drape around the body. Cover the head and feet if needed, but keep the face completely unobstructed.
Hold or tuck the edges to reduce wind exposure. Keep the blanket easy to release and do not restrict movement or breathing.
Never cover the face or tightly seal the blanket around an occupant. Maintain clear breathing space and keep the blanket easy to release.
03 Stay Warm, Cool & Visible

- Keep the reflective surface facing inward.
- Wrap over existing dry clothing layers.
- Add a sleeping pad, pack or dry clothing beneath you when lying down.
- Reposition the blanket if wind shifts it.
Shade, Visibility & Other Uses
- For shade, face the reflective surface outward and maintain airflow.
- Use the reflective surface to improve visibility to rescuers when safe.
- Use as a temporary gear cover or ground sheet on smooth, debris-free ground.
- Weight edges with smooth gear. Do not puncture the blanket with stakes.
The reflective layer can reduce radiant heat loss, but dry clothing, ground insulation and protection from wind remain important.
04 Care, Cleaning & Storage
Dry Before Packing- Clean gently. Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents and abrasive scrubbing.
- Dry completely. Air dry before refolding to reduce odour and moisture damage.
- Fold loosely. Avoid repeatedly creating the same sharp creases, which can weaken reflective material over time.
- Store protected. Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme heat and sharp objects.
- Inspect regularly. Check for pinholes, tears, brittleness or damage to the reflective surface. Patch small tears with suitable waterproof repair tape or replace a badly damaged blanket.
05 Important Safety
Emergency Use OnlyDesigned for temporary emergency use, not as a substitute for an appropriate sleeping bag and shelter on planned overnight trips.
Reflective PET film can melt or burn. Keep the blanket well away from campfires, stoves, sparks and other heat sources.
Never cover the face or tightly seal an occupant inside. Maintain clear breathing space at all times.
Thin blanket material can create suffocation or entanglement hazards. Keep away from small children unless closely supervised.
Open and move carefully. Sharp objects, footwear and rough ground can puncture or tear the material.
