I purchase the X34 and a set of carbon poles. Pack is a great design, with coinvent interior pockets, and plenty of adjustment for hanging extra gear. Highly recommend their gear.
For those long hikes, carbon poles are a must. The APEX CF poles are purchased last summer have stood up to some difficult terrain and have never failed me.
