I recently realized that I need extra stability on the trails; I'm glad I came across these trekking poles. They're so easy to adjust. The others I have had in the past were the twist-tightening, which may or may not hold. I took these for a test trek today and they saved me from rolling my ankles a few times. I purchase the X34 and a set of carbon poles. Pack is a great design, with coinvent interior pockets, and plenty of adjustment for hanging extra gear. Highly recommend their gear.
